"Each time Connie visited Riverbrook Residence this summer, she brought her positive energy and menagerie of percussion instruments, as well as sound bowls and coin skirts for belly dancing. Over twenty women with special needs enthusiastically participated in a full hour of drumming, movement and sound. Connie's humor and compassion put everyone at ease and built their confidence in trying something new. She inspired us to develop an in-house program, a novel way to keep residents fit and engaged. We plan to schedule her return for future energetic sessionsAlso, overall relaxation and calm permeated through me.
